Bio

I am a self taught artist.  I learn by making mistakes and I'm not afraid to 'try' something new.

I've always found glass captivating.    I'm fascinated with how glass interacts with light and captures the lights living energy.  It changes constantly as the light changes, never appearing quite the same depending on the light.  

The work I do now is based on this perception; the magic of glass and it's interaction with light.   started with tumbled glass, then coloured/stained glass, and now kiln fired/warm glass.  I find it magical that glass can go from a solid, to a molten liquid, and back to a solid again!  For me, that means the possibilities are endless.
